I do the 25 days of Christmas books in December. I wrap each book ahead of time and my daughter opens one each day to read. We have done it the last 2 years. The first year I used a lot of older second hand Christmas books. Now each year I add a couple newer ones that are themes she currently likes. This was a great addition to our collection!

I was disappointed in this book because it contains the exact same story & artwork from the Berenstain Bears Storybook Bible. If you have that children’s Bible, then this book may not be worth the money. If you don’t, then this book is good to have.

I purchased the The Berenstain Bears, The Very First Christmas… I’m trying to collect 25 Christmas books for a toddler as an advent calendar. This book is a sweet retelling of the birth of Christ. And an excellent book to include in the project. I recommend it. It appears age appropriate. And the book can be read for years to ome . .
